Please Read ....

Hi Everyone,

Please note that after many attempts to prevent cars obstructing emergency entrances and exits and also being parked on grass there will be no parking available on site at St Leonard's for the foreseeable future.

This decision is also supported by StL who have sent us a letter this week to indicate a few issues with our league use of the facilities.

The only access will be to those who provide refreshments and these cars will be indicated by a letter on the wind screen. All other cars will be asked to leave the premises and I hope you will understand and support!?

Alternative parking is available.

> On street - there is a charge of 50p per hour - please highlight that this is around Framwellgate Peth NOT Fieldhouse Lane entrance to StL. Residential areas are permit parking only and the Durham Parking Attendants work like clock-work!
> Across the road from the StL School vehicle exit there is the Durham Light Infantry car park (Aykley Heads, Durham DH1 5TU) and also some parking available at County Hall. I have attached a map to indicate their proximity to StL. I will probably try and park at the DLI.

PLEASE LEAVE EXTRA TIME TO GET TO AND FROM MATCHES!

Please can you also note that dogs are not allowed on site at StL. Faeces were found on the grounds by school staff and they are obviously very concerned as this is a childrens play area. I know some dogs have become friendly mascots to the league but unfortunately we cannot risk a child being exposed to this.

In addition to this can you please ensure that all young children are supervised on the league day. It has come to our attention that some young children walk around the site on their own. This is possibly siblings of players. Please can you make sure that parents are always near by.

You are welcome to take look at the letter from school. A copy will be kept by Babs on the table.

I hope we have your full support to ensure that Saturday is a fun netball day :)

Best wishes,

Marie
