Please can players (not parents) email the club to be nominated if they wish to be put forward to Satellite/County trials. Just a very short paragraph to explain why they would like to opportunity.

This is the first step on the ladder to play for England. So if you just pop along to netball to play with your mates, this might not be the opportunity for you. That said, don't be put off if you don't think you are the very best...yet! The trial process takes potential into consideration so if you are prepared to work hard...go for it!

North Durham County Netball Trials 2016-2017

Trials will take place on

Sunday 3rd July

Temple Park Leisure Centre in South Shields.

Satellite screening (going into Y7/8/9) 9.30-12.30
County screening (going into Y10/11) 1.00-4.00

Fee £5.00

All players must wear a white t-shirt and navy or black shorts or skirt. Please wear suitable footwear (sports trainers) and ensure that nails are short and smooth (no acrylic nails). Also please bring a drink (water or juice, no fizzy drinks) and snacks.

If you are selected for the Satellite/County Academy an indication of the timetable will be given on selection. The programme will commence in September 2016 and conclude in May 2017. You will be expected to fully commit to the programme of 30 Satellite/ 60 hours County, which will include inter county match play, camp days, sessions with coaches and S&C training.

If successful there is a fee for the academy. It covers the cost of coaches and venues.
